Old Fish and Often Relatives – Create Stink

They say fish and relatives begin to stink after three days. For some relatives it does not really take three days for them to leave a stench around your presence that you just wish would disappear. I know I have had my share of stinky relatives. For a personage like a President, a relative that creates unneeded embarrassment can become a real detriment to your personal image. The media love to meet the soon to be celebrity kin. Two words – Billy Carter. Jimmy Carter’s brother was a National Embarrassment every minute Carter was in office. Newly elected President Barack Obama has barely been in office and his family members have already proved to be an ever-increasing image problem. Obama managed to win the presidency despite his wife having foot in mouth disease during the campaign. Obama has an illegal immigrant aunt living off the State of Massachusetts. And now Obama’s half-brother, George, has been busted in Kenya on drug charges. Heck with this kind of all-in-the- family start – an Obama presidency should be a laugh a minute, except for Barack Obama.

Rod Blagojevich Era is History

Rod Blagojevich is now past history in Illinois politics and Pat Quinn has been sworn in as our new Illinois Governor. Quinn is already spreading the political promises thick, he kind of reminds me of Blago in that way. I am glad Blago is gone but the impeachment process felt soiled. What worries me the most about the impeachment process is that many/most of the very same people judging Blago, were probably as dirty as Blago himself. Four out of our last eight Illinois Governors have been indicted. Three have spent time in jail for their transgressions. Former Illinois Governor Ryan is currently setting in prison and it will not surprise me if Blago is soon sitting in a cell along side Ryan. As I think of the situation – I cannot remember a Governor of Illinois in my lifetime that has not had some sort of scandal tied to him either during his time in office or afterwards. And as I have said before, I do not think the most of the scandalous events are tied to just the Illinois Governors office. It cannot be just the Governor. Dirty politics has ruled Illinois for decades. The scandals have been going on too long and involved too many different Governors for the only current bad seed in Illinois politics to be Blago. And when the system has been dirty that long the only way to do business in the system is to roll in the mud with the rest of the swine. Heck we probably would not have seen a Blago impeachment process, except for the Tony Rezko investigation. And that investigation has political connection up and down both major political parties at the State and now the Federal levels. There is no way of knowing just how many politicians that are part of and/or have connections to the Illinois political system that will continue to fall from the domino effect surrounding the Rezko Investigations. Individuals like Blagojevich can only operate if many/most of the legislators around him have their own hands reaching out for some of the power and fortune the Blago deals are creating or if they are just turning a blind eye to what he was up to. And as I applaud the exit of Rod Blagojevich I fear all we did was knock over the chessboard and just shuffle the pieces as we placed them back on the board.

Does anyone care?

The impeachment trials for our Illustrious Governor of Illinois, Rod Blagojevich, moved to the Illinois Senate this past Monday. The Governor has chosen to skip the first three days in favor of a whirlwind media blitz focused on claiming how Illinois legislators are railroading him and that the impeachment process does not allow him to defend himself. Governor Blagojevich is attending today and is set to give the closing arguments against his impeachment. I admit that what I have read of the evidence so far does not paint a pretty picture of our Governor. It makes him look as corrupt as the reputation Illinois politicians have earned over the years. I have no doubt Blago is correct about the railroading claims about  many of the ones judging him, especially those with Chicago connections. And as much as I hate to agree with Governor Blagojevich, the impeachment process is a dog and pony show – by design. Everybody is just doing his or her jobs. Everybody is just following the rules. But the end process of the impeachment process, as designed, is that it does not allow the defendant a possibility to properly defend his or her self. It is just another political circus created out of smoke and mirrors. I now feel the need to go wash my mouth out with Listerine after agreeing with Blago.

The Illinois Senate has officially impeached  Rod Blagojevich 59-0! It was a sweep. They also voted to never allow him to hold political office again in the State of Illinois. Next Stop Jail?

Pretentious Parade Protocol Prevails

When dealing with protocol there are times you follow the book to the letter, ignore minor transgressions and even sometimes you just use the book to prop up the desk in the corner. In my opinion the case of John Coleman, the drum major that was suspended for breaking protocol when he waved at Pope Obama while marching in the inaugural parade, Coleman’s actions were much to do about nothing. And nothing is exactly what should have happened to the man for waving at the new President. Heck I do not even like the idea of Obama becoming POTUS and had I been in Coleman’s situation, I probably would have done the same thing. The United States of America had just sworn in a new President and is always the case; it was a momentous occasion for many people. It is like celebrating the New Year. Coleman’s actions were not a reason for some By-the-Book Blowhard to get his or her shorts all twisted-up in his or her vitals – over some minor indiscretion because Coleman got overly excited. It is not like Mr. Coleman dropped trousers and mooned the President. Let the guy enjoy what could have been a once in a lifetime chance to communicate directly with a President. Coleman was proud and for a moment lost his composure enough to break the pompous appearance expected of parade members. In other words he was a human organism reacting normally during a special situation. As the worst punishment, he “maybe” deserved a very short backroom naughty-boy chat with raised eyebrows and an eye-rolls followed by a friendly joke accompanied and then ice-cold Mt. Dews and Banana flavored MoonPies for everyone – to break any possible tension. Yee haw!

Barack Obama the False Prophet

Barack Obama has stated that he wants to clean up government corruption and heal the political division within the United States. His message swept him to victory in his quest for the USA Presidency. He and his disciples have been promising a new world as long as we follow his words. Sadly for the believers in the self-proclaimed Messiah, Barack Obama, already has had trouble following his own set of standards and practices. His early actions have been exactly what you would have expected from a far left-wing extremist politician. His legislative actions so far scream more division – not unity. The Messiah proclaimed during his campaign out with the old political guard that was destroying government’s ability to function and in with the new guards of government that would be transparent and fight corruption. Yet he has done nothing to excise the rot in the Oval Office and has instead filled the government body with infected selections of the same Old-Guard  of asymptomatic contagion he preached against during his campaign. And as Messiah Obama selects his acolytes that will serve his government he chooses candidates that break his own promises to clean out corruption and create a government clean of anti lobbyist associations.

His top choice as Obama Acolyte to operate the treasury is Tim Geithner. Mr. Geithner is facing legal charges over not paying his taxes. Tax paying and tax evasion are tasks he will be expected to administer over all Americans – as head of the US Treasury. Putting Geithner in charge of the very organization his crime is associated with sounds a lot like – putting the fox in charge of the henhouse. Even more unlike the Obama promise of “healing the division” within our government, the Obama disciples in the congress have decided to redefine the definition of reaching across the aisle. It seems that under an Obama Administration the definition of “healing the division” within the government means squelching dissention with the heavy hand of oppression. In an effort to smack down any opposition an Obama Acolyte, Senator Leader Harry Reid, announced that any attempt to hinder the Geithner nomination scheduled for this Monday, by vetting the would-be Obama Acolyte, would be “politically unwise” for those involved. So much for the Obama promise of “healing the divisions” in government by reaching across the aisle to come up with solutions! Nope under the Obama Administration the selection process is to be  –>rubber-stamp his declarations.

And despite Obama’s campaigning against lobbyists having White House connections; his selection for Undersecretary of Defense, William Lynn, is a Senior Vice President at Raytheon – a major defense contractor. Yikes, how many times have I heard the screeching about former President George Bush’s and VP Dick Cheney’s connection to the oil companies! Yet the Obama Administration is taking the stance that this is my selection –live with it. It does not seem to matter that the selection is seemingly breaking his new no lobbyist connection to the White House rule. Oops! Of course that is a rule that will be broken over-and-over again and is already happening as former doors are closed the lobbyists are coming through other doors.

A fawning press and Barack Obama campaign rhetoric -worthy of an Elmer Gantry Salvation Show- in the 2008 elections mesmerized the majority of the people of this country. They thought they were electing a Messiah that was going to be an agent of Change and Hope. Yet, considering the above Obama selections and decisions where he makes proclamations to parallel his campaign rhetoric and then bends and breaks those same new rules to fit his leftwing agenda: his administration so far resembles the George Orwell portrayal of Communist leadership in “Animal Farm”. Considering Obama’s political/personal background, connections and associations that is not all that surprising. In that book the Animals had freed themselves from the “oppressive farmer’s leadership” only to install a more oppressive leadership where all animals were proclaimed equal- but under the new government, some animals turned out to be more equal than others. The US voters in 2008 did not get their Messiah/Savior. Instead what they got with the selection of Barack Obama is just another old-school Chicago politician that is a False Prophet built from his phony message of Change and Hope.

Rod Blagojevich Takes His Big Top Clown Circus National

The Rod Blagojevich Democratic Big Top Clown Circus has been held over again, this time it is in the Big Time National Spotlight! Our Glorious Governor will take his political clown show to CNN and the Larry King Live show this coming Monday! Good move for Governor Roddy! Good move for the people of Illinois, the USA and even the World! Lets get some of the dirt out in the open! No so good a move for his fellow politicians/sock puppets. He is to explain his thinking surrounding his impeachment hearings and why he is considering boycotting his own impeachment trial. Even better – you can email the Larry King Live Show with questions for our Celebrated Governor. You suppose that many of the Illinois Democrat and Republican Politicians are sweating out this turning up of the heat by Governor Blago turning to the National Press with his case! Don’t cha just love it when all the political sock puppets are being placed in a difficult position where they will eventually  have to sing and dance because one of their fellow politician sock puppet buddies goes rogue!!!

The Scorpion and the Voters Fable

There is a story about a poisonous scorpion that could not swim whom cons a suspicious turtle to take him across a river, by convincing the turtle that the scorpion offers it no danger. Yet halfway across the river the scorpion stings the turtle with its venomous tail. When the scorpion was asked by the turtle -Why he stung the turtle dooming both of them to drown in the river- the scorpion replied it is in my nature!

I would think that many of the non-Democrats that voted for Pope Barack Obama the first, could start to relate to the fable of the turtle and the scorpion. During Obamas campaign he was speechifying about how he is to be the great healer to reach across party lines along with a transparent administration. ROFLMAO @ people that believed the Obama Kings X political spiel! The Obama administration is less than a week old and already he has took to bashing former President Bush on the Obama Presidential website (so much for the great healer), tossed bones to the rabid disciples that got him elected by unilaterally and without consulting with the Congress (so much for reaching across party lines)- deciding to close Gitmo without having a real plan as what to do with the terrorists, unilaterally decided to tender US tax funds to countries for performing abortions despite a huge rift between US citizens on the matter of abortion (does he expect any less rift by using taxpayer money to fund overseas abortions) and now has broke his new transparency rule by deciding he needs special exceptions to break his own – Get Tough with Lobbyists rule! Why, because he is a politician! Politicians lie cheat and steal to climb the political ladder. They shake your voters hand, pat your back, tell you as many lies as necessary and pick your pockets as they swindle you out of your vote. Barack Obama came out of the nastiest political cesspool in Illinois- Chicago. Where, just like the scorpion it is the nature of the beast to sting the voters for letting a politician ride across the river on your back.

When Sock Puppets Go Rogue

Hang the banners! Stake the tents! Bust out the Barkers! The clowns are already here. Because the Rod Blagojevich State of Illinois Politics Circus is performing another encore. It is an all-political clown show staring Illinois legislators at the State and Federal level. In a media event held today, Governor Blago is vocally crying foul on the current impeachment process and silently challenging all the Illinois legislators that just want him out of office and to disappear before he starts spilling the dirty little secrets that keeps the politicians in power. True, it is political business as usual – but it is getting a National Audience during this political extravaganza. What is amusing are all the Democrat politicians and sheep that championed Gov. Blago are now shrieking – Off with Blago’s Head!!! Up until the moment Blago was hauled into jail they were all just one big happy family of Democrats. And Blago was the State leader they were rallying around with and singing praise-the-lord we are saved because we have a Democrat at the helm. Hmm, that sounds familiar! Oh yeah it is the same thing the nation was just singing as Barack Obama was anointed USA Messiah. That same Barack Obama that has political and personal ties to Blago and was singing the Blago praises along with the rest of the State Democrats, until Blago got his hand caught in the cookie jar. But now that their Democrat Party Sock Puppet has a “visible” cloud of corruption that hangs over the heads of all Illinois politicians they have named him a rogue and a pariah. This is the same Blago pulling all the previously known Blago tricks that they all rallied around (including current Pope Barack Obama) and championed the Blago reelection cause when his original term of Governor was up. Oops! Blago has been the same Blago he has always been. At his press conference today he looked tired and probably scared. Scared enough he is probably ready to start spilling all the little secret dealings that do on in Illinois politics. My guess is this latest media circus was just his way of letting all his former colleagues seeking his political career- lay off unless you want me to start talking. The rest of the story is that the State and Federal Democrats have decided he has gone rogue. There ain’t nuthin capable of scaring politicians than a political friend gone rogue –that may try and cut a deal with prosecutors to save his own skin. If they rush to help him out of this jam they look bad in the public face or if they let him sink then most of them face the same fate. A real conundrum for our President, and the rest of our Illinois politicians. This story is the political media circus that just keeps on performing for the crowds.

Hollywood Elitists Feel Above the Law

In my last post I discussed how new President Pope Barack Obama has been using the Hollywood elite to power his campaign. These are the same Hollyweirdos that flaunt their open disregard for breaking the laws of the land. And when they get caught they act shocked that they are expected to be held legally responsible for their actions They feel beyond reproach. One of the more blatant and enduring examples of Hollywood elitism has been the case of Roman Polanski. The man rose up from nothing to become a superstar in the movie industry. So how did this Hollywood Star celebrate his stardom? Well he got a thirteen year old girl drunk, drugged her and  then raped and sodomized her. Then when he was being brought to justice he manged to escape the country. Like so many in Hollywood he felt he was above our justice systems. And he has been avoiding justice for over thirty years. Now the Hollywood elitists are trying to get the rapist record cleaned. No surprise there – they are above the law even when it comes to raping a minor. What the justice system should do is freeze all the US Industry assets from his films and works, then freeze the assests of any company that promotes his works – until the entertainment industry quits protecting the criminal.

Barack Obama – A True Agent of Shame

As we move one step closer to the official Pope Obama presidency – his Holiness still continues to display his desire to embrace those individuals from Hollyweird and the Entertainment industry in order to power his Presidency. Barack Obama, the man who would be the moral backbone of our country has chosen to party with and align himself with the drunkenness and debauchery that calls itself the Entertainment Industry. Obama who created a smoke and mirror campaign to defeat Hillary Clinton and then John McCain is relying on entertainment star power to help keep his followers mesmerized and blinded by his phony image. That actually makes sense – the stoned and drunk energizing the mesmerized. The man whom soon will be in charge of our laws, government direction and our military is relying on the energy created by the only workforce lower in morals than lawyers and politicians – the entertainment industry. The entertainment industries, that Obama is using to energize his presidency, are the same people that publicly glamorize alcohol/drug abuse, vilify our military while making untold millions off their brave actions, while also taking pride as high profile role models for our children by self-indulging in high rates of infidelity and divorce. So while Obama is supposedly leading our country, creating and enforcing our laws and overseeing our military; the modern day entertainment industry he embraces for its media value- will be busy flaunting the laws he is creating/enforcing, pompously breaking laws and demonstrating themselves as corrupt role models while vilifying as they financially exploit off of our military. The would-be agent of change/messiah – Barack Obama continues to prove he is other by choosing to embrace individuals that live in and champion the darkside of life. Barack Obama is truly an Agent of Shame.
