Caution – False Prophet at Work part 1

Jim Baker was a charismatic smooth talking preacher who bilked a lot of money out of people that worshiped his image and pretty words that painted lovely images. Baker used his followers time, sweat and money to create his ideal religious empire. The very charismatic Barack Obama reminds me a lot of the man. Though in my opinion Jim Baker was actually less of a cheat than current US President Obama. At least with Baker after he mesmerized his followers – willing disciples donated the money and the captivated crowds performed the idol worshiping tasks voluntarily. With Pope Obama – willing donations from worshipers only and volunteer directions are not an option.

In one of his earliest actions as President Obama turned to his Democrat controlled Congress to build a stimulus package to give the US economy a boost. The result is a pork-laden piece of legislation that has been forced down the throats of citizens and the States by Obama hard sell tactics. Any intelligent salesperson can tell you if you have to “hard sell” a product – your tactics as well as your product becomes suspicious. As seen with the strong-arm tactics being used against States and Politicians distrustful about accepting the package – rejection of the package along with the ties-that-bind the beneficiary – is not an option the Obama administration is willing to accept. Nor will the funds just magically appear or be a volunteered donation. This will be money tax-ripped from the pockets of States, Businesses or whomever Obama decides should pay for his stimulus package – whether the State and/or institution receives any of the benefit. In other words refuse to take it if you want but I will take money from you to pay for my hog lots either way. You know I have said before – I do not object to the idea of a stimulus package. I personally think that it will fall short of expectations but I am not going to pretend to actually know if the package will fail or succeed. Even the experts cannot agree on the actual value of this legislative monstrosity. But what I do object to is all the hidden pork that legislators from both political parties slipped in the package and the way the package was rushed through the process without proper inspections to remove the unnecessary pork out of the legislation. And Pope Obama, instead of doing the right thing and forcing the congress to address just the economy with the legislation, allowed the Nancy Pelosi/Harry Reid Congress to pick the pockets of struggling States and businesses to pamper Congresses special interest groups and pork project objectives. And like Baker, Obama smiles at us as the Congress uses this legislation to pick our pocket to pay for their vision of America.

Obama Ethics Held Hostage by Reality

Ethics and transparent ethical Washington DC leadership. That was one of the fundamental themes of the media driven Barack Obama elect-me-president campaign. He claimed he had ‘em and that most everyone else in Washington didn’t. Well I ain’t gonna argue with the point that most everyone in Washington DC politics lacks ethics. But I am afraid I would have to include messiah-wannabe Obama in that lack of ethics list. It is early but so far during his presidency, the translation of ethical government practice has changed with the wind. According to the dictionary if one is ethical they prescribe to the principles of accepted moral conduct. Okay what we are really saying is that ethical/ethics is a wishy-washy word similar to truth – in that it is defined by individual perception – which means you can pretty much create your own meaning as to what establishes ethical practice. Which is probably a good thing for the Obama disciples. Considering the Obama presidency has not looked all that different to the Bush presidency when it comes to comparing his actions as President to the pretty pictures of anticipated ethical behaviors painted of his future administration by Obama during his campaign. So far differences with Bush – are minimal at best – if any differences actually exist. The latest head scratching “huh” moment must have come for the Obama disciples during the Hillary Clinton hug-fest with Communist China. Her statement -badly worded even giving her the benefit of doubt- that the US concerns over human rights in China Human “cannot interfere with the global economic crisis, the global climate change crisis and the security crises” as the US pursues closer bonds with Communist China. Translation – North Korea is still a problem and China holds the leash plus Obama just committed to trillions of dollars in spending and China will have to do their part by financing much of that US expenditures. Global warming was just a toss in phrase for the Obama-drooling leftwing activists as everyone knows global warming is not high on China’s priority list. So the US government monetary needs outweighs any atrocities Communist China is responsible for on its citizens. The Obama/Clinton policy statement already has some activists groups unhappy. My guess is that many of the dissidents in China were also probably expecting a more “ethical” direction by an Obama administration. Oops! So it seems that though Obama campaigns and speechifies a good game of ethics – when it comes down to choosing between ethics or the pursuit of personal agendas – in the Obama administration political ethics are still held hostage by the reality of survival. It is a good thing for the Obama mesmerized that “ethics” is one of those words you can adapt the meaning of: I am sure they are spinning that definition in theri minds as we speak. New President – Washington DC politics as usual – still no “agent of change” in sight.

War on Terror Directional Beacons

The past and future of the war on terror recently saw some directional guidance beacons posted along its pathway.

Ari Fleischer admitted–> that in retrospect that Iraq did not have the WMD capabilities that the Bush administration thought it did. Of course as is always the case – hindsight usually has 20/20 vision. Personally I never cared if they found WMD’s or not. Most of the world thought Iraq had WMD capability – including most of the USA government. Saddam Hussein wanted the World to think he had WMD’s and did a very good job of selling the idea to everyone. My philosophy is – if someone tells me that they are pointing a loaded weapon at me – I will believe them until I can prove it one way or the other. Saddam Hussein was not going to let us prove it one way or the other because he wanted everyone to think that he was armed to the teeth with WMD’s. When possible, it is far better to remove the threat than live in worry and possible danger. You do not wait around to see if your opponent’s gun is loaded or not. The only way we were ever going to know the facts on whether Iraq was pointing a loaded WMD gun was to do what we did – remove Saddam Hussein and his sons from power.

In another story relating to the war on terror – the Pentagon released it’s study on the treatment of prisoners of the war on terror being held at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. According to the study the prisoners are being treated humanely. In fact–> I feel they are probably better off than if they were returned to the war zone. At least with their current location, they are safe from the bombs, bullets, squalor and famine that accompany war torn regions. And as long as they are being detained at GITMO, they offer less threat to our troops than they do back in the war zones. And they get far better treatment than any individual –military or civilian- captured by the radical Muslim terrorists we are at war with. If it were up to me – we would just load them all up on a ship, dress them in burquas then dump them in the Arctic Sea and let them take a scenic swim home. We could even provide a Navy escort in case any ships attempted to intervene with their swim.

And finally in what I am sure is confusing the minds of the mesmerized Obamatons –-> the Obama administration has announced it will maintain the same Bush administration policy regarding prisoners of war being held by the US in Afghanistan. There Obama goes  designing his War on Terror strategy similar to the Bush War on Terror strategy. So much for those media championed anti Bush War messages. The Bush administration has long held that they are not entitled to any US Constitutional right to challenge their detainment. And the Obama administration states they will follow the Bush policy. Now that is a strategy that I can agree on with the Obama administration.

Communication Technology is The Winds of Survival

John McCain’s daughter –Meghan McCain- has just spanked the Republican Party with the facts of life. It is something I have been saying to all conservative minded people for several years–> If you want to survive as a political force to be reckoned with, and not become just some minor player in the political arena, then conservatives must learn how to use modern technology such as the Internet/other modern communication systems as tools to reach out to all Americans of all ages. Modern technology and its manipulation to get his message out – was the driving force in the 2008 elections that allowed Barack Obama to become the False Prophet of change and hope. It was Obama’s manipulation of modern communication to spread his False Prophet messages that allowed him to beat first Hillary Clinton and then John McCain. I know I harp on this a lot! But communication technology is the modern winds that carry the seeds of messages to the fertile grounds for sowing and development. Learning how to use communication technology to spread your message is the modern law of survival–> the fittest become the predators choking out the weaker species/messages by taking root and claiming the fertile ground for future generations of their seed to be nurtured in.

Eric Holder Thinks America is a Nation of Cowards

According to a CNN article quoting Barack Obama’s Attorney General Eric Holder – America is a nation of cowards when it comes to race relations. Holder went on to suggest that while he thought racial lines in America was melding in the workplace – outside the 9-5 environment – our after-hours (before I get a wisecrack email – no – I am not talking about the escort service in Davenport) reindeer games stayed mutually segregated. Like any true politician, the context of Holder’s quotes was pliable enough to be deciphered in whatever manner a listener chose to translate the message. I do think the coward word is going to cause him some misery. I would have also preferred to read some specifics from Holder that could have been used in debate. Sadly his own inability to express specifics suggests that Holder should take his own advice. Don’t pussyfoot and hint at problems – challenge the nation with your ideas so real debate can come forth. If he is suggesting that Black and Whites both have trouble socializing and playing together – I agree. I have commented before that I think the nation is still challenged by many racial divides. I have walked into recreational and social gathering locations with friends where my red-carpeted WASP face was probably the only one in the joints. And there have been a few times where I dragged black friends into redneck crowds where they were uncomfortable. During those times I know that there were those in the locations that were not happy with the integrated socializing. The divides can also be seen in interaction on the Internet. During the recent presidential campaign I lost track of the times I was accused of racism for my rants on Obama. Yet the only racism contained in my rants was that perceived by those still hoping to keep the racial divides for political and personal ego/gains. In fact most of my attacks on Obama were associated with his connections to white politicians and criminals like Richard Daley, Rod Blagojevich, Tony Rezko and Bill Ayers. It had nothing to do with his race but with his far left wing connections. And in all fairness to Barack Obama- my guess is that his vote totals would have been much greater had it not been for a huge amount of underlying racial bigotry inside the Democrat Party. I know of a lot of WASPs that normally punch a straight Democrat ticket in the Quad Cities and other places that sat this election out because of Obama’s skin color. I also personally knew several individuals and read statements from others that suggested a lot of Black & White Americans voted for Obama -not because they thought he was the best person for the job- but because he was a black man. Holder is right in that we still have got a long way to go in learning how to overcome racial divides when we are playing reindeer games and living life in general.

Child Rape Okay with Hollywood

Escaped criminal Roman Polanski has been avoiding justice for over thirty years. Polanski was charged with the drugging and rape of a thirteen year old girl. He fled the country to avoid justice. Polanski has had a lot of support in avoiding that justice from the Hollywood Community during the time period.  With Hollywood it is “circle the wagons” time when one of their hollyweird insiders gets in trouble with the law. A quote on CNN from actress Anjelica Huston, whom was in the house at the time Polanski raped the young girl went: “I don’t think he’s a bad man – I think he’s an unhappy man.” I guess in Hollywood being unhappy excuses you when you break the law  – even when you rape a child. Hollywood has even went as far as trying to demonize those that would bring Polanski to justice for his crimes in a movie released by  HBO. Evidently child rape is a perfectly fine practice with Hollywood insiders. Polanski’s lawyers just lost another round in court when they were told there would be no reconsideration of his trial unless he showed up in the US. Rightfully so. Nor should he be excused for his crimes. I have said before Polanski should face extended time in jail for his original crime and the fact that he fled the country to avoid justice. Those companies and individuals in Hollywood protecting the man and still doing business with the man should be fined and have their assets frozen until Polanski is jailed for his crimes.

Dispatch/Argus Says No Dissent Allowed

An editorial article on QCOnline was championing a movement in Iowa that is similar to an Illinois movement to change electoral voting laws. Under the proposal instead of the States electoral votes being totalled for the presidential winner of the States popular vote – the electoral voters would go instead to the overall winner of the popular vote in all the states. Every since the rarity where GW Bush won the election by electoral votes; all the Chicken Littles have been trying to do away with the electoral college system. This is just the latest version of the attack. One of the biggest clamors from the electoral win was everybody’s vote was disenfranchised. Well this latest scheme is just one huge disenfranchisement. What the legislation does is take away the control of voting from the people of each state. It would no longer matter whom the voters in your state voted for unless a majority of people in the country voted for that person. It takes away the right of individual and state dissension .  It would no longer matter if you believe a Democrat, a Republican, a Libertarian or any possible third party candidate should win, because the law will strip away your vote unless you voted for the most popular candidate nationwide. My momma taught me a longtime ago just because everyone else thinks it is a cool idea to jump off a bridge – it does not mean you have to follow their insanity. Evidently some or all of  the editorial  staff of the Moline Dispatch/RI Argus/Quad City Online feel just the opposite. They are evidently  in the belief that —>No dissent is allowed.

Meanwhile, Prezzy Obama is set to sign his Porky the Pig economic stimulus bill legislation today. It is such a stinky bill even Democrat Cheerleader Jack Cafferty called it – a sorry spectacle. That is probably him just being nice in describing the legislation. I can think of far more descriptive words – I just won’t say them in public.

In more important news–> when visiting our fine state of Illinois please to remember our city fathers have spent a great deal of time debatiing and passing city laws – please familarize yourself with these laws so as to avoid fines and/or jail time.

When Visiting–>

Champaign:

Please remember it is illegal to pee in your neighbors mouth. (How did this get past the ACLU?)

Chicago:

It is illegal to fish when you are sitting on a Giraffes neck

It is illegal to eat in a burning building. (Sounds like good advise)

It is illegal to give a dog whiskey. (Sounds like more good advise)

Galesburg:

Jostling others is illegal. (Possibly dangerous depending on whom you jostled.)

It is illegal to burn bird feathers. (So much for plucking chickens)

Also there is a $1000 fine for beating rats with a baseball bat. (Somebody better inform the pest control agencies.)

Moline:

On a more local nature – it is illegal to ice skate on Moline’s Riverside Park during the months of June through August. (If you can ice skate on Riverside Park during the months of June through August- you can probably start your own religion.)

These and more fine city laws in Illinois can be found at this link.

Eight Democrats Offer Surrender Flag To Illegal Aliens

According to articles I have read there are several individuals attempting to halt the building of the US/Mexico fence previously legislated by Congress. The story is that Eight Democrats – [U.S. Rep. Solomon P. Ortiz, D-Texas], [U.S. Reps. Henry Cuellar, D-Texas], [Susan Davis, D-Calif.], [Bob Filner D-Calif.], [Raul Grijalva, D-Ariz.], [Ruben Hinojosa, D-Texas], [Silvestre Reyes, D-Texas] and [Ciro D. Rodriguez, D-Texas] are attempting to jeopardize the US gains made from erection of that fence in reducing illegal immigration. The eight have sent notice to his holiness Pope Obama that they want him to stop work on that fence we are building along the US/Mexico Border to slow illegal crossings. According to many individuals that fence has shown to be effective in reducing illegal aliens from crossing our border. It makes no sense to stop building that fence, which is helping guard the US border. With the current drug wars happening between Mexico and the Drug Cartels – the fence idea should be expanded upon, not halted. We need stronger control of our borders – not a white flag of surrender further opening those boundaries to illegal aliens. Here is a chance for Obama to display whether he is going to take a get-tough attitude with illegal immigrants and those politicians/individuals that enable the illegal immigration invasion of this country or if Obama is going to turn a blind eye and let the illegal immigrant storming of our borders continue.

Rod Blagojevich Scandal Still Shadows Over Roland Burris

Due to circumstances beyond my control, I was Internet surfing during night-night time early Sunday morning. QCOnline, my local newspaper/Internet provider, had a story about Republicans wanting an investigation into possible misconduct revolving the selection of Roland Burris as Senator to replace Barack Obama. Now I do not think either Party is really interested if there was any actual misconduct involved between Blago and Burris. I personally believe it is more about the continuation of the Bipartisan Bickering that the Democrat and Republican Parties use to beat up on each other’s image. And though I know neither party is as interested in solving the issues this country faces as they are in embarrassing the other party – guys you probably got the best there was to offer in Roland Burris. Heck Burris is certainly more capable than the individual he is replacing in Barack Obama. And he is probably a lot more politically unsoiled than Obama was/is. Is he political pure? Please this is Illinois! Do not expect to find any innocent like Mr. Smith Goes to Washington among Illinois politicians. Just hope you go someone more like  Chauncey Gardiner - instead of our usual real-life Al Capone wannabe Illinois Politicians.

And on an Obama note – it is no secret I think he was the worst choice available out of all the POTUS alternatives. Heck even politically hapless Jesse Ventura would have made a better choice for POTUS than Obama. And I plan on using any soapbox available to continue my political jabs at Obama and his presidency. I also plan to continue offering up links to those sites that lampoon him with political cartoons. Still Quad City Examiner made an excellent observation a while back – when she suggested that Obama was becoming the most over-marketed politician/celebrity in history. It is an acceptable action to lampoon a politician over their politics. Still I feel that there are times when using anyone’s image for marketing purposes that scream – tasteless. Such was the case when I was reading the Burris story I just commented on. After following the link to the story – one of the advertisements on the page was for an insurance company. Nothing wrong with that- you gotta pay the bills. But the advertisement included a goofy looking dancing-Barack-Obama image – that was little more than cheap exploitation of his image. Presidents are fair game of political punditry. Political punditry is part of the essence of free speech. But that insurance advertisement was simply using Obama’s image for commercial exploitation. The advertisement was out of place and inappropriate with regard toward the office of the president.

Blind Obedience to the New Pope

The House is voting on the 1000 page stimulus bill. The 787 billion dollar 1000 page bill, which is overloaded with pork and political payoffs, is being voted on without any of the Congress members even taking  the time to read the complete legislation. New President, Democrat controlled House and Senate –> same old politics. How many times did I hear complaints that Congress was blinded by George Bush on the Iraq War vote because Congress did not bother to read the long version of his intelligence information! Now we see the same Blind Obedience to the holy one’s, Pope Barack Obama, wishes for passage of his Porky Economic Stimulus bill. Sorry Folks – No agent of change in the White House and No Agents of Change in the Congress. Just more of the same tired old political pandering, pushing and shoving at the expense of the citizens of this country. Maybe you should all try some new Obama mantras. Perhaps that will help sooth the knowledge you elected the same batches 0f crooks that was already busy screwing up this country.
