Stupid is as Stupid Does

If you attempt to grab a charging bull by its horns  – you should not be surprised if you get gored and gutted!  Too often individuals and/or groups forget that fact. Stupid is as Stupid does! For reasons of their own a group of “possible do-gooder” activists attempted to run an Israeli Naval blockade. They paid a heavy price for their stupidity. At least nine of the activists are now dead and many others wounded.

I said “possible do-gooder” activists for a reason. After refusing to heed  Israeli Naval warnings to turn around, the “supposed” do-gooder  activists seemed well-prepared to engage in combat tactics.  It has been reported that as the soldiers, armed with paintball guns and holstered pistols, attempted to board the ships by helicopter – the “activists”- attempted to crash the helicopter by tying the ropes, used by soldiers to exit the helicopter, to the boat. Stupid is as Stupid does! From that moment on the boat-people  ceased being possible humanitarians and became actual violent combatants. Video has displayed pure mob mentality as the boat-people -using weaponry such as metal pipes, clubs, knives and pistols- violently attacked the soldiers as they boarded the ships. As I said before if you grab a charging bull by the horn – don’t claim surprise when you get gored! The boat-people rightfully got gored and gutted.

Now I am not saying that the boat-people had no right to attempt to run the naval blockade. I am not saying that they had no right to repel the soldiers boarding the boat. They did. But they have also lost any claims at being anything other than a violent enemy combatant towards the soldiers boarding their boat. I also believe that many, if not all, of the boat-people activists as well as the organizers were hoping to incite a violent confrontation with the  Israeli Navy. That is an easy assumption since first blood was taken by the activists. This can be coupled with the following statement attributed by AP to an organizer of the flotilla –>

A spokeswoman for the Free Gaza movement, which organized the flotilla, said the group’s goal — beyond just bringing supplies to the impoverished territory — was to shatter the blockade.

“What we’re trying to do is open a sea lane between Gaza and the rest of the world,” Greta Berlin said in Cyprus. “We’re not trying to be a humanitarian mission. We’re trying to say to the world, ‘You have no right to imprison a million and a half Palestinians.’”

When you couple that statement with the actions by the boat-people mob it likely adds up to a planned attempt by the flotilla organizers, at creating open combat with the Israeli Navy. I also think that the organizers probably understood that there would be heavy casualties as a result of their actions. You cannot violently attack a military unit and expect otherwise. Stupid is as Stupid does! Attack someone bigger and badder than  you – then go crying and whimpering looking for support. It is an old ploy often used to gain sympathy. It might even work for the mob on the boat. In my opinion the boat people were acting as a mob and they have no real complaint about how they were treated. In what should have been no surprise –> the boat-people antagonists got exactly what they were looking for – a violent encounter with a superior military force, that cost many people their lives and endangered many others on both sides of the event.

Lost Integrity

New reports are saying that the Team Obama White House had asked Bill Clinton to act as a negotiator seeking to find out what it would take to keep Joe Sestak from running against Arlene Specter  in the Pennsylvania Democrat primary.  Considering that the controversial incident is now facing possible legal implications – the choice of Clinton, as go between, turns traversing muddy political waters  into slogging through a mosquito infested swamp. Bill Clinton lacks integrity – he lost it hiding his marital indiscretions.  How can the public, investigators or any legal institution be expected to believe any utterance from the mouth of Bill Clinton -about the Sestak incident- when he already has a track record of lying in court while under oath to tell the truth? They cannot – no one can.

The Real Big Bad Wolf Strikes

How many times since the formation of the Tea Party have we seen either someone in the Democrat Party or Mainstream media create some doom and gloom fairy tale painting the Tea Party as some violent radical organization that US citizens should fear. Meanwhile back in the Real World, the real violence towards USAmerican citizens,  that continues to surface, comes from far leftwing groups and often ardent supporters of Barack Obama. And once again the Organization that has some of the closest political ties to Barack Obama has seen fit to terrorize an USAmerican citizen. SEIU, the Union organization critical to Obama’s election and a frequent White House visitor whose officials are constantly advising Team Obama –> decided to flood a personal residence of a USAmerican citizen and their children  with angry protesters  because they had a beef with the business for which he works. The owner of the residence, who had been out of the house, had to force his way through the angry SEIU thugs to get into his own  house, where his teenage son was hiding from the angry crowd that was busy using mob tactics to terrorize the occupants of the house. And SURPRISE –>once again the mainstream media is busy avoiding the story. They are evidently too busy creating more fantasy tales painting the Tea Party as the big bad wolf, while SEIU thugs have once again been busy, this time terrorizing children.

Obama and His Weiner Attack Free Speech

When a politician and/or a political party is unable to win arguments with an adversary  they look for ways to buy off the individual and/or find a way to force the silence of the individual. A non-traditional source -Obama seeks to silence with legislation- is bloggers. Also, Barack Obama has been busy attempting the later on members of Fox News since he took office over a year ago. The individual Obama seeks to bully the most seems to be  Fox’s very popular on-air personality, Glenn Beck. Beck could be described as part entertainer + part newscaster + part modern-day prophet. Beck and his diligent staff tend to find videos that expose the Marxist infection, in their own damning words,  that is rampant among the Obama White House advisers and confidants. Obama and his staff have done their best to disparage Beck, his show and the information Beck broadcasts daily. The conflict between the two has reached the point that Beck actually installed a dedicated phone to offer Team  Obama the chance to discuss any broadcast information that Team Obama feels in not factual. I have yet to see or hear Team Obama  to call in to discuss where they feel the Beck information is erroneous. Instead Team Obama continues a pattern of attack-attack-attack in a manner they hope will silence the Beck media political program.  So much for freedom of the press. It makes you wonder just how much Marxist agenda information that is not getting found. The rest of the press does not even seem to be asking questions – much less looking to use their constitutionally guaranteed power of the press to search for answers. The most latest attack on Beck has come from a NY Congressman Anthony Weiner. Weiner has been busy doing the Obama dirty-work  of  Obama by attacking the Beck program while also trying to organize a boycott of the Programs sponsors. One Weiner attack has been against a Beck sponsor that sells gold investments. Weiner attempts to paint an unholy alliance between the Beck and Gold Investment corporation advertiser as part of a rightwing conspiracy. Perhaps Weiner should tune in the non-rightwing show Coast to Coast Am that deals with the paranormal and political conspiracy.  He will find that they to push Gold Investment companies advertising.  Beck does not seem to back down from an all out brawls even with the odds stacked against him. So  Beck has started a website to address the Congressman’s attacks called Weiner facts. The fight against Team  Obama’s attack against free speech and holding his administration accountable for their actions, continues.

Hate America Crowd Takes a Whiz on Arizona

Obama continues to criticize the State of Arizona for doing what the federal branches of government refuse to do –> address the illegal immigration problems. Obama instead chose to take a public piss on Arizona – and the overwhelming amount of USAmericans that agree with Arizona’s approach to fixing the illegal immigration problems. Once again, Obama has displayed his -Hate on USAmerica-  spirit as he used a joint press conference with Mexico’s Hypocrite/See-Hear-Know no Evil President to publicly criticize Arizona for trying to protect itself against the problems the whole USA is facing from rampant illegal immigration. The Hate on America crowd in the US is attempting to create hostile  conditions for Arizona through power plays such as organizing boycotts of the State.  I applaud the Arizona official, whom following a call from Los Angeles, California officials to boycott  Arizona, suggested that the Sate of Arizona should quit shipping electricity to the City of Angels! With the heat of summer coming on – that is an excellent idea!

(Meanwhile when the president of mexico bashed Arizona in his public address to the USAmerican citizens – certain members of Congress cheered his verbal attack on the sovereign State of Arizona! WOW big surprise –>public anti-American sentiment being displayed by members of Hate on America in Congress!)

Prohibition – A Failed Noble Experiment

I don’t consume alcohol, I don’t smoke and I am constantly getting into squabbles with medical professionals over prescription medicines they prescribe for my various aches and pains. My biggest vices are habitually playing Mega Millions Lotto, drinking copious amounts of caffeine-free Mt. Dew & Lemonade,  a crippling weakness for fine chocolate and a never-ending penchant to chase women that are way faster than I am. All of which probably makes the following post seem out of character.

From 1920 through 1933 the United States of America tried a noble experiment by banning the sale and consumption of alcohol. It failed miserably. The liquor industry simply went underground. People that wanted to drink still managed to find alcohol to satisfy their habit. The booze they drank was unregulated in its manufactured quality/safety and the only people and organizations that benefited from the Prohibition of alcohol was the criminals and crooked politicians. The whole era was one of intense criminal activity that created a dangerous environment for the public as well as the honest personnel among the law enforcement and government. Banning the sale  and usage was a far  worse experience than the problems experienced when alcohol was legal. Which brings me to today’s rant.

There is  probably not a person who knows me personally or that has listened to me rant that has not been made aware of my disdain for individuals abusing illegal narcotics. I have had acquaintances, relatives and coworkers that have completely tripped my trigger having to put up with their stoned bodies and minds when they were supposed to be busy living life. Over the years I have seen changes in the way I feel it best to address the problem of illegal narcotics. Heck sometimes I change my assessment daily. The one thing that has become more apparent over the years is that much like the USA previous approach of prohibiting alcohol – the governments prohibition of narcotics has been a similar failure. Illegal drug use  rampant and the only people and organizations benefiting from the current prohibition is criminals and crooked politicians. The public along with the honest people among law enforcement and government all continue to face danger from the criminal elements pushing and using the illegal drugs. Now I do not think that  we can simply legalize drugs to solve the problem. But more and more I think we have to consider some sort of legalization of soft drugs like marijuana, such as California is considering,  as well as some sort of regulated availability of other drugs similar to the way we regulate alcohol and cigarettes.  The more I consider it, the more the advantages far outweigh the disadvantages. It will take a huge bite out of terrorist funds and the South American drug kingpins billionaire lifestyle. It will also kick city street gangs and the mafia squarely in the  groin by reducing the drug  markets that make them wealthy. It will allow us to redirect a lot of money now spent fighting illegal drug trafficking into programs similar to those we use to help alcoholics and those addicted to cigarettes. It will also help the country as we can control costs while also  heavily taxing the product as we do other dangerous vices. It is worth a try because the current war on drugs version of prohibition, seems to be a losing cause for the US citizenry and a win-win for the criminal elements – just like the original prohibition of alcohol in the 20′s and 30′s.

Miss USA – Girls Gone Wild

The Miss USA contest is no stranger to T & A titillation. According to Wikipedia –> “The Miss USA pageant was conceived in 1950 when Yolande Betbeze, winner of the rival Miss America pageant, refused to pose for publicity pictures while wearing a swimsuit. Miss America Pageant sponsor Catalina (a swimsuit manufacturer) decided to pull their sponsorship off the pageant, and create their own competition.” Considering the current controversy surrounding the publicity photos of contestants in racy lingerie poses, used to promote this years pageant, it looks as if the Miss USA  Beauty Pageant has decided to up the shock-factor.

As a former raging hormonal teenager of the male species, followed up in the 90′s by running with a QC Wolf Pack chasing the local girls-gone-wild and with health permitting, a future member of the dirty old mans club – I can say that the 2010 Miss USA publicity photos definitely have the WOW-Factor!  If the pageant officials and  contestants were seeking to embolden a Caligula status to all  their reputations and increase television ratings – through the pictures of contestants clothed in come-hither attired Penthouse poses designed to produce pervert’s cramps among the pageants spectators, I am guessing that they have succeeded in that endeavor.

However, while capitalizing on the lust factor may increase the beauty pageants  television ratings – I am guessing the pictures will do little for any of the contestants not seeking to use the pageant as a means to jump-start a career in the porn industry or womens underwear modeling. If that is the hope of these Miss USA Contestants, then they have chosen wisely. They are certainly more honorable, dignified  and respectable professions than politicians and lawyers.

On the other hand if the contestants were hoping to use the pageant as a stepping-stone towards becoming the CEO of a fortune 500 company – the pageant  photo-op  is probably a bad idea. Large Corporations tend to be stuffy and prudish when it comes to men or women attempting to climb the corporate ladder. Men and women already sitting in the corporate penthouses tend to see Penthouse/Playboy posing women as carnal entertainment for behind closed doors. If climbing the corporate ladder were the intentions of these young ladies – the photos will probably only help create a more difficult road ahead of them, before they can become the next Martha Stewart.

I have never been a beauty pageant fan, even during my raging hormone days. Not my cup of tea. But I do wish the contestants luck and hope the photo-op works to their advantage. But I am guessing that the only real winner will be the pageant and the television station exploitation as they benefit from making girls-next-door into girls gone wild.

LA Politicians -Stupid is as Stupid Does

Generally speaking–> birds chirp, cats meow, pigs squeal, police squads flock to donut stands, politicians lie whenever they open their mouths and dogs bark. It is the nature of each beast. Now in Los Angeles – politicians seek to defy mother nature. It seems that they don’t like barking dogs. So they are going to fine dog owners whose pet dog barks interfere with the comfortable enjoyment of life or property. Chalk up a real genuine “Stupid is as  Stupid Does” moment for those LA politicians. There is a reason that dogs bark – it is how they communicate. When a dog barks – it either wants to go do his or her business, is hungry/thirsty, has noticed a possible danger or individual that does not belong on the home owners property. Unlike the drunk/stoner taking a leak on the owners property while attempting to sing 99 bottles of beer on the wall, unlike the kid with his sub woofer blowing out the window of the owners home as he is passing, unlike the clown with the motorcycle loud pipes who thinks it is entertainment to roar through the neighborhood at 3 A.M. – that the cops chuckle at rather than apprehend-  the barking dog is actually being of use  and displaying loyalty towards his or her owner and the neighborhood. I would suggest that the politicians seek to instead pluck the log from their own eyes by attempting to control the personal shortcomings of all politicians – the inability to be truthful- but like asking a dog not to bark, asking a politician to not lie- is against the laws of mother nature.

The Sounds of Silence

The last of the US Navy Seals wrongfully put on trial –> has been found not guilty, just as his predecessors. These military men  were  robustly accused of brutality to a captured Iraqi terrorist and  savagely persecuted by leftwing howlers and relentlessly hassled by the Obama worshiping  mainstream media. The Bush Deranged  Howlers along with their lapdog media were looking for someone, anyone that they could prosecute and persecute as a symbol against George Bush and the Iraq War . Those quick to convict the men even tried to get them to plead out and avoid any kind of a trial. The mob was not interested in justice or even to know if the men were guilty – they just wanted blood! The Seals chose to stand and fight their accuser and the lynch-mobs seeking to persecute them. Now that they have all been exonerated – the silence from the accusers is deafening! Where are all the mea culpas from those pundits and the mainstream media seeking to lynch the accused without a trial! I suspect some of the media will run a mea culpa story hidden in some darkened attic corner of their periodical near the classified sections. But mostly all we will hear are the sounds of silence.

Stupid is as Stupid Does – Illinois Legislators

Stupid is as stupid does. And stupid is alive and well among the legislation of the State of Illinois! The State of Illinois has been bleeding jobs since long before many in the current workforce were old enough to weaned from their mama’s teat. Yet once again, lead by numbnut legislators from Chicago, our Illinois legislators seek to run more jobs out of the State, while also trampling on the US Constitution. It seems that State Representative, Democrat Edward Acevedo has revived a bill seeking to ban the building, selling and owning of semi-automatic weapons in the State of Illinois. The previous attempt at assaulting the Second Amendment  rights of the citizens of Illinois, by the Illinois Legislation,  resulted in the loss of at least one company packing up and moving to Iowa.  The clueless Acevedo claims by his trampling on the Second Amendment, he is going to make the streets of Chicago safer. QCExaminer’s analysis about the proposed amendment is spot on –>“I’m not exactly a gun expert, but from what I can discern, none of these manufacturers produce cheap Saturday Night Special type guns—all are high end weaponry not favored by—or in the price range of the Chicago homies.” In reality, all his legislation would do is make it easier for criminals to run rampant all over the State. And more importantly it is not his decision to make. The Second Amendment of the Constitution guarantees the citizens of the US, the right to bear arms for the protection of self and country. But legislators like Acevedo would prefer that the average citizen be offered no protection from criminal elements or invaders seeking to steal our freedom. Like our Congressman -Phil Hare- in Washington DC,  it seems that many in the State of Illinois legislation do not care about the Constitution, except in whatever way they can twist it to serve personal and professional agendas.
