Warlord Obama

According to a Politico article there are a group of Democrats challenging Prez Barack Obama’s decision, as well as the Constitutionality of the decision, to use military force against Libya. Okay. Anyone that reads much of my blog realizes that I think as a President, that Barack Obama is a Marxist wannabe and a PUTZ! So regular readers of my blog might be shocked that I actually agree with Obama’s decision to honor our NATO allies lead and bomb the Libyan military. (On a related tangent,  I do not give a flying horse turd about whatever the -useless as teats on a boar- United Nations votes on the affair.)

Basically Obama is in a similar “damned if you do, damned if you don’t” situation that his predecessors from George W. Bush all the way back to Jimmy Carter faced when dealing with policy in the Middle East. The best any POTUS can do is find a way to sell his actions because there will be tons of human excrement  dumped on the decision maker – whatever the individual decides.

However, as I inferred in my last post, that does not make 2011  POTUS Barack Obama any less of an enormous hypocrite when compared to the words of 2008 candidate Obama. Candidate Obama bashed Bush on his military actions as a path to become the current POTUS. Over on the Drudge Report they listed the 2011 Obama pre-military engagement of Libya oration versus the 2003 Bush Iraq oration:

MARCH 19, 2011
OBAMA: ‘Today we are part of a broad coalition. We are answering the calls of a threatened people. And we are acting in the interests of the United States and the world’…

MARCH 19, 2003
BUSH: ‘American and coalition forces are in the early stages of military operations to disarm Iraq, to free its people and to defend the world from grave danger’…

Wow – sounds like they hired the same speechwriter! No doubt about it – the longer Obama is in office the more his military dialogue resembles his predecessor – George W. Bush. I guess the Bush Deranged and lamestream media- whom pushed Obama into office- now have a Marxist-wannabe version of George W. Bush Jr. on their hands.

The Man Whom Would Be George Bush Jr.

In a speech to the nation President Barack Obama gave a Middle Eastern Tyrant the following ultimatum —>

“Moammar Gadhafi has a choice. The [U.N.] resolution that passed lays out very clear conditions that must be met….

These terms are not subject to negotiation,” he added. “If Gadhafi does not comply with the resolution, the international community will impose consequences and the resolution will be enforced through military action.”

Gosh that sounds familiar! I wonder where I heard that kind of talk before? Oh yeah right before the US formed a coalition to enact military action on Iraq during the George W. Bush presidency. Huh, wasn’t it one of Barack Obama’s campaign stances – he was the anti-George Bush when it comes to using the military. Wasn’t it 2008 POTUS candidate that stated –>

It’s time to admit that no amount of American lives can resolve the political disagreement that lies at the heart of someone else’s civil war…..

Gee, the longer that Obama is in office the more his military resolutions resembles the George W. Bush Presidency. All the Bush Derangement craziness the US had to endure -YET- the champion of the Bush Deranged and the lamestream media – has military delusions of being George W. Bush Jr.

Clueless Time

Lots of fun Links today!

Okay, I admit it. I was bored stiff. I had awakened at 3:00 AM, four hours after I had laid my head down to rest. And I needed something to do in between loads of laundry. The TV I bought from American is anxiously awaiting the repairman so the Internet was my chosen distraction of choice. I tried the hard news and other than the tragedy in Japan the news was mostly repeat. So I clicked on a Time/CNN link promising the Top Ten Songs with silly lyrics. Now that sounded interesting and a distraction from the laundry busy churning in the basement.  While I am familiar with most of the songs and they certainly fit the description of Silly Lyrics – Top Ten    —>my opinion is, long shots on several. It was especially clear that the Time Staff scribbling the article certainly lacked a vast knowledge of pre-1980′s song lyric and had also FAILED to research the subject they were writing about to call their selection the “Top Ten List”. How can you have a Top Ten Silly Song Lyrics and Not include some of the big early hits like Sheb Wooley‘s – Flying Purple People Eater?  Or even wilder how about the 1966 hit by Napoleon XIV – “They’re coming to Take me Away Today”. And what Top Ten Silly lyrics List would not include any of the Great Ray Stevens (most politically incorrect!)songs? At the very least his song about a stalker titled “It’s me Margaret” belongs on the list! And while I agree with Time that the more modern Black Eyed peas song “My Humps” is deserving of Silly Status; what makes it more deserving of “Top Ten” status than the Lords of Acid song, “Pussy” (caution link is full of suggestive material)  which is full of silly double-entendre? About all both song content are great for, is as songs for part of  a Strip Club Dancers set. So the “Top Ten”, Time? I don’t think so! Your clueless editorial staff might consider a little deeper research next time. Not that actual research seems to be necessary for any modern day journalists – to get their work published.

Hey Sheb, I like short-shorts and an eye-popping  boom-chica-boom-boom, but unlike the Chuck Berry song suggests,  Ya’ll might wanna consider playing with your ding-a-ling-a-ling in private! Don’t they arrest people for doing  that in public – even in an Obama World.

No real reason for this post. I just like the following video which is as addictive as the video game  -Plants versus Zombies-  of which it is included within. Who knew I had anything in common with Gwyneth Paltrow!

Quinn Signs Legislation Eliminating the Death Penalty

On Wednesday Illinois Governor Pat Quinn signed legislation eliminating the death penalty as a form of judicial punishment. Many State Officials and Prosecutors disagree with the elimination of capital punishment  as a legal penalty. I have read some prosecutors also claim it will weaken their plea-bargaining power when dealing with murderers.  Personally, I applaud the legislation. As I stated early on in my blogging experiences: I think that the capital punishment option is a highly flawed process and in reality is nothing more than a form of legal revenge used to satiate possible angry lynch mobs.  Most murders are crimes of passion and capital punishment does nothing to deter those types of crimes. I am staunchly against the death penalty – except in all but the most heinous crimes such as terrorist acts like the Oklahoma City bombing. My personal opinion is that we should instead make part of judicial punishment – to require the guilty individual to submit to extensive medical studies, so we can try and find out what makes these people tick. Perhaps then we could find a way to identify and limit the origin of similar evils.

Dispatch-Argus Editors – Living in a Different World

In a “Stupid is as Stupid Says” moment an editorial over on Quad City Online has come out in favor of the Progressive Liberal Legislative Activism that Illinois  State Police be required to make the normally private information about who has obtained a firearm owner identification card, available to anyone that requests such information.  I have never made it a secret that I don’t own a gun, I have never owned any actual gun other than a BB gun when I was five years-old, nor do I foresee me running out and making a purchase of a gun. Yet I emphatically disagree with their editorial thinking that it is okay for Big Brother government to distribute this personal information to anyone whom requests it.  I don’t think the Government has any business  releasing any personal information such as firearm ID cardholders to outsiders, anymore than I think they should be collecting, then releasing any personal information. It should not be mine or anyone else’s business – if the editors of The Rock Island Argus/Moline Dispatch has went out and obtained a firearms card so they could purchase a Dirty Harry model 44 Magnum anymore than if  he or she had ordered the latest lifelike Jenna Jameson sex-doll with triple-entry,  multi-speed vibration with remote control or a Golden Jack Rabbit Vibrator with seven levels of vibration, six rotating speeds and G-Spot attachments. It is all private information that should stay PRIVATE!

The Dispatch/Argus editors quickly dismiss the idea that criminals would seek to collect such information. I disagree with that reasoning also.  I do agree that  an average criminal would probably not seek such information personally – it is highly unlikely that they need to would do so. Their are people that do collect credit card information and numbers and then turn around and sell it to the criminal community. It is highly likely that a database on firearm card holders made readily available by the State, would offer a profitable opportunity to those personal information theft  types of criminal activities. Probably not so much as selling out information to criminals to avoid houses with guns available. But that type of information would offer a great database opportunity to make it easy to crosscheck the information the State has with any information they could steal from store weapons purchases. That would be a goldmine to those thieves that specialize in weapons theft. Not only would that type of information put the weapons purchaser at risk from thieves; it could also help make stolen weapons more readily available on the streets.

The Dispatch/Argus bases their approval of compromising personal information required by government edict by inferring that the major disapproval of the idea is based on unfounded fears and that the release of such information couldn’t really offer up any personal harm.  Huh  -they must live in a different world than the rest of us! First off fear is a good emotion that is there to protect an individual from stumbling into harms way. And very often those fears are based on past experiences. We live in a high-tech communication world where collected information -whether for good purposes or bad purposes- can be distributed quickly. It is often done so regularly, The Dispatch/Argus editors should understand this – especially if they bothered to count the Spam that accumulates in their customers E-Mail boxes – last time I checked my Spam folder it contained over five thousand spam messages for the month. Or at more serious looks – Obama-worshiping SEIU union thugs used gathered personal information attempted to  harass and terrorize a family – and instead wound up terrorizing a young kid home alone in their residence, because the SEIU thugs did not like the father of the family. In another  recent Dispatch/Argus story they told of how a pervert had used personal information gathered on social media to persuade mothers to commit sexual perversions with their children.  And it has not been that long since an adult woman harassed a young East Coast teen on Social media formats – until that teen killed herself.  So I do not need editors of the Dispatch/Argus telling me how we should not fear information that gets distributed freely to any Tom-Dick-or Harry! Any personal information made available by any means can be misused by criminals or even activists seeking to pressure other faction. It is done so regularly.

I could probably spend endless hours thinking of more ways that criminals could misuse this type of information. But perhaps the biggest worry might not come from criminals but everyday John and Jane Doe individuals seeking to further their activist cause or seeking to harm others.  No in my opinion the government has no business collecting and then  redistributing such information to anyone – other than law enforcement agencies and only as necessary.  the editors staff must be living in a different world than the real one. For in this real world well-meaning people as well as criminals do bad things with obtained personal information everyday!
