Contrary to any vicious rumor that might have been previously proliferated: I have neither been eradicated by the malevolent extremist leftwing Socialist Obamatons or Rabid Rightwing faction of extremist Ron Paulistas, nor have I been kidnapped by some menacing extra-terrestrial seeking to practice cruel experiments on my body and soul over some perceived affront to their Dr. Frankenstein worshiping existence. Nope! Contrary to any rumor -realistic or bizarre in content- I have returned from the dark of blogging shadows and I am still very much alive, kicking and breathing the putrid Progressive Nanny-Statist Quad City air of Planet Earth. Hey QCE – Vampires are in vogue again, thanks to Twilight. Though they do not compare to the cast of Dark Shadows, especially Kathryn Leigh Scott! There was a lot of hotties in that show but KL Scott stole the show, in my opinion. I will refrain from saying anything further on the Maggie Evans/Josette duPres character she played, as the witticisms would probably come out immature and incredibly crude. But I am afraid I don’t quite have the taste for the mores of the Dark Shadows lifestyle. I don’t hunt or even like rare meat! But the tune played by Josette’s music box in the show is incredibly haunting. It is one of those tunes next to impossible to get out of your head.

Hah Ghost! I might have moved FROM Illinois and the whacked out Progressives that run it, if it was an option! But business and family functions is not going to allow that option.
