Obama and the Justice System Evidently Thinks Voters are Stupid

A Federal Judge evidently  agrees with the Obama Administrations Justice Dept. letter  that implies minorities in the US are second class citizens, incapable of making intelligent voting decisions without the helping hand of Big Government. Their combined determination that minorities are incapable of making a discerning selection of which politician to vote for, unless the individual has a party affiliate tag next to their name on the ballot – is a spit in the face of all voters. As was displayed by Arlen Specter –> Party affiliation tags often change with the political wind, which makes RINOS and DINOS name-tossing a popular disparage among political party members. The only real purpose this ruling serves is to brand voters as stupid, while allowing politicians to use party affiliation as a means of voter-warfare, in order to limit their potential exposure to voters.

Merry Christmas 2011

With all the revelry and distractions that goes on this time of year, for those of us that celebrate Christmas with family, friends or even in solitude; it is easy to lose track of the reason for the celebrations. And on this eve of the mass celebrating Christ  I offer up the following reminder of the extraordinary story that is the reason behind our numerous forms of celebration – from the King James Bible, Luke,  Chapter 2 verses 1-14:

1 And it came to pass in those days, that there went out a decree from Caesar Augustus, that all the world should be taxed.

2 And this taxing was first made when Cyrenius was governor of Syria.

3 And all went to be taxed, every one into his own city.

4 And Joseph also went up from Galilee, out of the city of Nazareth, into Judaea, unto the city of David, which is called Bethlehem; (because he was of the house and lineage of David:)

5 To be taxed with Mary his espoused wife, being great with child.

6 And so it was, that, while they were there, the days were accomplished that she should be delivered.

7 And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger; because there was no room for them in the inn.

8 And there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night.

9 And, lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them: and they were sore afraid.

10 And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people.

11 For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.

12 And this [shall be] a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger.

13 And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying,

14 Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all!

May God Bless us Everyone.

Cultural War on Christmas Continues

He is mentioned in some of the most sacred US documents like the Declaration Of Independence. His churches played an integral part in freeing the US Colonies from British rule.  He is referred to on the currency of our nation. He is often referred to in many important Statesmanship Speeches such as the Gettysburg Address. His lawgiver Moses is portrayed in character alongside other famous historical figures on the US Supreme Court. The Congress of the US has even retained Christian Chaplains since 1789 to open Congressional sessions as well as offer guidance to members. December 25th has been set aside by federal law as a legal holiday celebrating the birth of his Son. Still there rages a Cultural War on God, Christians and Christmas  by progressive secularists, Christian apologists and a minority with malice towards religion in any form. Every year another cultural attack by anti-religion combatants strikes another contemptuous blow seeking forced government discrimination against faithful followers of religions.  As reported by media sources, a recent event comes from the halls of Congress, where representatives responsible for overseeing Congressional mailings to constituents  have ruled the words “Merry Christmas” or “Happy New Year” may not be included as part of any official Congressional mailings.  I suppose next they will ban the use of the word goodbye, since  as I have mentioned before,  it is merely a contraction of the words “God be with Ye“ !!

Bush-Obama War in Iraq Begins its Fade into History

As the war in Iraq comes to a close, President Obama continues to display his post-2008 election of hawkish Iraq ideology that basically followed the George W. Bush wartime doctrines. According to a Josh Gerstein article on Politico, Obama -the man elected in 2008 by using a Bash Bush about the Iraq War strategy- is quoted as saying “History will judge the original decision to go into Iraq…” .  Huh! That sure sounds like familiar dialogue. I know I have heard that before. Wait – I said that in numerous heated discussions on the Internet as well as in real life, during the heights of Bush Bashing by the Bush Deranged and way before Obama even announced his Presidency. Hell some of our most historically revered political leaders were  loathed while in office by the public, politicos, media and historians for their military decisions. I previously argued and I still stand by my original reflections; it doesn’t matter what I or anyone else currently thinks about the political ethics and reasoning guiding this country during the war in Iraq – history will be the final judge.  And that judgment will most likely swing like a pendulum depending on which politicos, media personalities and historians are in vogue. The pendulum swinging will eventually slow down until the inertia of its pulse is barely visible and then and only then -after the most contentious of the arguments have faded- will history make a final decision about the Bush-Obama Iraq War. Though it is exceptionally strange and unnerving to see a left-wing socialist wannabe ideologue, like Obama, channeling my conservative/libertarian theScoundrely thoughts. He still won’t get my vote!

The Sky is Falling – The Sky is Falling – The Sky is Falling

UPDATE

The media is now reporting Canada has officially withdrawn from the Kyoto pact.

————————————————————————-

This week, various UN Nations endlessly haggled and bickered over Global Warming Cassandra Project Scenarios and Solutions at COP-17. In a last minute deal the group agreed on a path of continuing the Kyoto pact while seeking to continue to negotiate a more authoritative deal among the various UN delegation commitments. The key sticking points seem to be seeking language addressing funding for the Global Warming Committees pet projects and a method to legally bind all countries to the UN COP-17 Pact. The US/Obama delegate handled the agreement in typical Obama fashion by agreeing to the pass the pact while acknowledging the final details could be worked out later. In other words a typical Obama/Reid/Pelosi piece of legislation – They have to pass it – before we can find out what is in it. Yikes!!!! Another Obamacare in the making. Just like the Bush Administration  – the Obama Administration also seems to think the US should play kiss-ass to UN agendas. No thank you!!!

As far as contributions to whatever pork projects the UN Global Warming Cassandra Project determines are worthy: in the pursuit of studying Global Warming – I think the US Congress should agree to contribute $1 per project to the group, as long as we have documented proof from the UN that each contribution is appropriated only to GW projects previously approved by a 2/3 majority US Congressional Vote. Plus the only approved Congressional application for any COP-17 draft that includes offering the UN legally-binding influence on US legislation or business – is as toilet paper.

However in reverence towards the latest round of Global Warming efforts I include the following link from lowerwolfjaw.com to a post that offers up 121 years of climate predictions including:

  • Is our climate changing? The succession of temperate summers and open winters through several years, culminating last winter in the almost total failure of the ice crop throughout the valley of the Hudson, makes the question pertinent. The older inhabitants tell us that the Winters are not as cold now as when they were young, and we have all observed a marked diminution of the average cold even in this last decade. – New York Times June 23, 1890
  • The question is again being discussed whether recent and long-continued observations do not point to the advent of a second glacial period, when the countries now basking in the fostering warmth of a tropical sun will ultimately give way to the perennial frost and snow of the polar regions – New York Times – February 24, 1895
  • “Fifth ice age is on the way…..Human race will have to fight for its existence against cold.” – Los Angles Times October 23, 1912
  • The United States and the Soviet Union are mounting large-scale investigations to determine why the Arctic climate is becoming more frigid, why parts of the Arctic sea ice have recently become ominously thicker and whether the extent of that ice cover contributes to the onset of ice ages. – New York Times – July 18, 1970
  • The battle to feed humanity is over. In the 1970s, the world will undergo famines. Hundreds of millions of people are going to starve to death in spite of any crash programs embarked upon now. — Paul Ehrlich – The Population Bomb (1968)
  • In ten years all important animal life in the sea will be extinct. Large areas of coastline will have to be evacuated because of the stench of dead fish. — Paul Ehrlich, Earth Day (1970)
  • “Civilization will end within 15 or 30 years unless immediate action is taken against problems facing mankind. We are in an environmental crisis which threatens the survival of this nation, and of the world as a suitable place of human habitation,” – Barry Commoner Washington University Earth Day 1970
  • New Ice Age Coming—It’s Already Getting Colder. Some midsummer day, perhaps not too far in the future, a hard, killing frost will sweep down on the wheat fields of Saskatchewan, the Dakotas and the Russian steppes…..Los Angles Times Oct 24, 1971
  • U.N. OFFICIAL PREDICTS DISASTER SAYS GREENHOUSE EFFECT COULD WIPE SOME NATIONS OFF MAP – entire nations could be wiped off the face of the earth by rising sea levels if global warming is not reversed by the year 2000. Coastal flooding and crop failures would create an exodus of “eco-refugees,” threatening political chaos, said Brown, director of the New York office of the U.N. Environment Program. He said governments have a 10-year window of opportunity to solve the greenhouse effect – Associated Press June 30, 1989

 and on and on and on
