While the propaganda of socialism/communism paints the picture of an everybody is equal utopian society; the reality, is instead of utopia, the equality they offer, is poverty to most. And while in a small format, socialism and communism might flourish for the process to work in a large community the format must evolve into Socialism and Communism. At that point you have an Orwellian Society where all animals are equal but some are more equal than others. And under those large Socialist/Communist nations as was displayed by the former USSR you are left with an elite society and a slave society. And there dies the ideology of communism and socialism. The false hope and change mantras of socialism and communism can tend to make their disciples bitter. Even now, though POTUS Obama still is a very likable human being, the reality factor of his baby-steps towards European Socialism has started to sink in on a few of his disciples; those no longer blinded by the media elite Obamanation-clerics that continue to spread his false mantra of hope and change. The reality is that the Obama everyone used to think they knew was just another wily politician with dreams of political Godhood subservient to his Progressive Politburo Masters.
