Hacking into China Glamorized Routine

I was reading the latest media article about Edward Snowden - talking about the great revelation that the United States has been hacking into Chinese computers. Uhhh, yeah so what – and why does this surprise anyone? It is spying 101 except safer, since it is performed by computer hackers – instead of burying real people into deep cover inside foreign nations. There is a reason many agencies are called foreign intelligence agencies – they spy on other countries looking for information. Always have, always will. Countries spy on their enemies, they even spy on their allies. Always have always will. In this case the story is situation normal – no real surprise.  Unless you are truly a mindless sheep that chants the Obama Hope, Change and the Most Transparent US Government ever mantra. Sorry.  No hope, no change, no transparency – just more of the same Big Government except under Obama they do it Chicago Thug Style. The real story is that Al Capone is surely grinning ear-to-ear while getting toasted daily in Hell, while he admires the Chicago Style of Government that the Obama Administration employs.

Absence Makes the Heart Grow Fonder

Perhaps absence does make the heart grow fonder.  A recent poll shows George W. Bush has reached positive approval ratings for the first time since leaving office.  The pundits on the right and left are spinning the story; trying to explain the rise in favorability.  The fact is those that truly hated GW Bush will probably always hate GW Bush. And those that never hated him will continue to find things about the man they liked. There were things about Bush  I liked and things about Bush that infuriated me.  But that is they way I am about most people, myself included. The reality is that the normal fence-straddlers, whom were sheep caught up in the media driven Bush Derangement Syndrome, have softened their opinions on Bush now that the press no longer has the time or storylines to kick Bush to the curb. Plus as the Obama Administration morphs more and more into a roid-rage version of GW Bush when it comes to addressing the Middle Eastern  threats, the Benghazi Scandal, the IRS scandal  and domestic spying – GW Bush no longer looks so bad to many of them.

Feeling Bulletproof

According to news articles I have read; a 15 year old boy and two 16 year old boys took a 12 year old girl into a basement with intentions to sexually assault the young girl. The boys not only sexually assault the girl – they tape the attack while also flashing gang signs and then post it on the Internet. The crime is of a senseless and horrifying nature. The young men should be tried as adults.  And all caring individual should ask themselves – what about our culture and justice system made the perpetrators feel bulletproof enough, to post the attack on  Facebook.

A New Pope – A New Hope

Normally – I would have something snarky to say about the selection of a new Pope. Don’t get me wrong I have great respect for most religious organizations – even the Catholic Church. They do great things for many-many people. I am not a Catholic but I am a Christian that very much believes in God and Christ. But in  my personal estimation, the Catholic Church  – much like many religious  institutes of all sects and beliefs – have become centered too much on operating like top-heavy corporations searching for markets.  Somewhere down the line the Christian Churches have stopped teaching the message of God and started teaching the messages of individual pulpit orators – marketing their personal message instead of the word of God. In many ways the modern world has built up a resemblance to ancient Sodom and Gomorrah.  

I am sure that some of my personal beliefs will clash with the new Pope.  And perhaps history will prove me wrong – but so far everything I have read about the newly selected Pope-Francis-I actually melts a little of the cynicism I have about those who have taken the helm of modern Christian Churches. A New Pope -and perhaps-  A New Hope for Mankind. We shall see.

Half-Moons and Hellfire Missiles

During the GW Bush presidential years the Bush Deranged – hysteria fed by the even more deranged media – about how the Bush administration was going to listen in on their personal phone calls while searching for terrorists. So they whined and bellyached about how much better  life would be ruled by a left-wing progressive politician. The Deranged and the media got their way as we are now entering our second term under the Progressive leadership of Socialist/Communist-wannabe Barack Obama. And while they all screamed their heads off worrying about how Bush Ad. might overhear them plotting secret rendezvous behind their  spouses back they all continue to remain fairly silent as extremist policies by the Obama Administration looks into way further methods of  invading personal privacy than Bush Ad. ever considered.  The most latest Obama Ad. revelation- Eric Holder claims drone strikes against Americans on American soil -without judicial authorization, other than his own- is perfectly legal.  

And the Bush Deranged were worrying old Georgie might realize they were busy cheating on wifey.

Looks to me the Deranged might wanna worry less about whether someone having giggles listening to their personal shortcomings over the phone and be more concerned about an Obama drone lighting up their half-moons with a hellfire missile.  But then history has shown constantly that is always a worry when you put your political trust in a Socialist/Communist wannabe like Obama.

You Have Come a Long-Way Baby and

It’s not all good. I feel bad for current parents when they are trying to evaluate school systems and teachers that are overseeing their child’s education. Especially since more and more teachers are getting exposed teaching extracurricular activities that don’t belong on the curriculum. When I was growing up you usually felt your kids were in good hands when you sent them off to school, especially, since most of the teachers were probably sensible women/mothers and not horny old geezers. But now the news is continually flooded with women teachers getting slapped on the hands  – that would get their male counterparts tossed in prison without a key- for taking sexual liberties with  children they are supposed to be educating!

To steal an old cigarette adage-  You Have come a long-way baby. But in these creepy cases it ain’t in a good way.

Juan Williams Talks of the Not so Secret Media Bad Behavior

Despite the fact that his political views are mostly a polar opposite of mine, I respect Liberal Journalist Juan Williams, as he is one of the few journalists on the “left or the right” whom usually debates his opinion with an opponent  rather than just castigates the opposition.  In an interview with Ginni Thomas, Mr. Williams makes an observation about the progressive left that I have been  talking about ever since I started blogging –>

“I always thought it was the Archie Bunkers of the world, the right-wingers of world, who were more resistant and more closed-minded about hearing the other side,” he said. “In fact, what I have learned is, in a very painful way — and I can open this shirt and show you the scars and the knife wounds — is that it is big media institutions who are identifiably more liberal to left-leaning who will shut you down, stab you and kill you, fire you, if they perceive that you are not telling the story in the way that they want it told.”

Deadbeat Snake-Oil Salesmen Still Destroying the State of Illinois

The last couple of years I occasionally posted about how I noticed some area medical establishments were no longer accepting Medicaid due to the State of Illinois‘ poor track record in paying those in the medical industry. Recently I was at a local medical establishment and I noticed that they had a sign up that stated – due to the State of Illinois slow payment system as well as their often denial of claims, any  employee of the State, using the State of Illinois CIGNA plan, must pay for all services before treatment, then personally file any claims with Illinois/CIGNA services.  Ouch! Illinois strikes again! And yet the voters continue to keep voting in these same Snake-oil Salesmen whom fleece the electorate over and over again. Stupid is as stupid does and there is a lot of stupid going on in the deadbeat Illinois government. And the silence from the watchdogs supposedly protecting the state and the nation (the media) is deafening.

Realizing the horrific effects the Obama Administration and his acolytes in the media has had on  USAmerican citizens - the Canadian government has began preparation for worst case scenarios , should Plague Obamaton continue to spread.

According to a Dispatch article:

The Illinois Department of Corrections violated its own policies when it hired former Congressman Phil Hare's son as an assistant warden at East Moline Correctional Center, according to a report by the state's inspector general..... The inspector general launched an investigation into the hiring in response to information "it obtained that the Illinois Department of Corrections hired a politically-connected but otherwise unqualified person."

In other words as I mused back in this previous post from September of 2011; Lou Hare was not a qualified candidate, yet was quickly slotted into a high level position at East Moline Correctional Center. The selection was pure politics.  The Congressman's boy needed a job and despite lacking four of the six job requirements was handed the job despite that there was no doubt being untold others far more qualified for the job that never even got the chance to apply. And what are they going to do about it? the usual - nothing.
