Caution – Good Old Boy Politics At Work

The vociferously campaign promised political “hope and change” protocol by Barack Obama when it comes government legislation was-  “That’s what I will do in bringing all parties together, not negotiating behind closed doors, but bringing all parties together, and broadcasting those negotiations on C-SPAN so that the American people can see what the choices are.

What a difference between the False Prophet campaign promises and actually political operations of Team Obama. Instead of using CSPAN to create transparent legislation – Team Obama  has resorted to hidden backroom dealings, to bully/extort and bribe legislators to pass and now meld the unpopular House and Senate versions of health care. By using Team Obama’s obscured from the public “lets make a deal” policy, the final version will very likely offer some form of public financed abortions. It will likely offer a version of government controlled health care option. And it has already been proved to have the “Team Obama denied” death panels for Senior citizens. There have always been “death panels” involved in government sponsored and/or private insurance coverage. Except the government -the institution that we normally rely on protection from health care denial- will now be the fox in charge of the hen house –> determining who lives and who dies.  In the real world – extortion and bribery is an illegal method of doing business. It will get you tossed in jail. However in Washington DC political circles, it is the accepted way of doing business. Once again transparency in government is just a false promise from some clown looking to get elected.

I said before Barack Obama was elected – No hope, No change just more of the same “good old boy” politics, except now with a Marxist stench.

  1. I love the way the Dems are blaming the hapless GOP for doing the health care bill in secret. As they demonstrated in the middle of the night on Christmas Eve, they’ve got the votes and can jam through anything they want without even one GOP vote.

So what’s the rush anyway—oh, I forgot, they need to start collecting taxes ASAP even though the benefits won’t kick in for years.

    Pathetic—no, I mean DISGUSTING! 😦

  2. The way these two pieces of legislation are being bullied and bribed into existence is the ultimate display of the horrors related with government operated health care.

  3. What I can’t believe is the people who think this will mean free or very cheap healthcare. And I don’t see how they can make it mandatory under penalty of a fine. I wonder if this is how they’ll try to sneak in the single payer option.

  4. There will be nothing cheap about this bill when it comes to costing the taxpayers. That is why they are hiding behind closed doors to create one piece of legislation. It will be chocked full of every Marxist option they can bully or bribe into existence. The only hope is that they are unable to buy or bully enough legislators to get the final draft through both houses. The only other hope is taxpayers -through taxpayer organizations- seeking possible lawsuits about the constitutionality of parts of the bill. They might be able to get the whole thing tossed out on some constitutional grounds.
