Winter Snow Ice Cream

Now here is a recipe that brings back childhood memories!


1 lg. bowl or pan of snow
1 can evaporated or condensed milk (condensed makes it richer)
2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. sugar
Slowly pour the milk over the snow, then sprinkle the vanilla over the snow. Mix lightly with spoon or fork. Sprinkle in the sugar and mix lightly. Eat immediately; do not try to freezer or refrigerate.
Of course at our families house I don’t remember there ever being any left too freeze. 😆


  1. Use only white snow, correct?

  2. That was always the plan. But we usually got our snow off of automobile hoods so we were always on the lookout for bird droppings.
