I haven’t really posted much about the George Zimmerman trial since the whole incident began. Now that it is over I do have a few observations. My most obvious thought is that the Prosecution had no murder case and did a horrible job from the start, with the few possibilities that they did have. My second train of thought is that the event was a huge tragedy for both the Travon Martin family and the George Zimmerman family. And as usual the bloodsucking vampire leeches that constitute the Lawyer industry and the Politics Industry will stir the pot and milk the event for personal gain.
I think a juror quote summed up the case best:
‘I think George got in a little bit too deep…. He shouldn’t have been there.
But Trayvon decided that he wasn’t going to let him scare him and get the one up on him or something. And I think Trayvon got mad and attacked him….
It’s a tragedy this happened, but it happened. And I think both were responsible for the situation they had gotten themselves in to. I think both of them could have walked away.’
But neither did walk away and now one young man is dead and another young mans life will be filled with regret and the tribulations that accompany the actions of killing a fellow human being.
